Hello, my name is Abby.

My journey to becoming a Clinical Nutritionist began with my own unexpected health crisis. Like many Melbournians, I once saw food simply as sustenance and enjoyment – something to experience in our city's vibrant dining scene. That perspective transformed dramatically when I began experiencing severe health issues more than a decade ago.

What started as mild food intolerances soon escalated into debilitating symptoms. I found myself severely malnourished, spending countless nights in emergency departments and consulting numerous specialists. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, I could only find temporary relief before symptoms returned, often more intensely than before.

The turning point in my health journey came when I discovered the crucial role of gut health in overall wellness. What I learned – and later confirmed through my clinical nutrition studies – was profound: the answer to my health challenges wasn't in medication, but in food itself. This realisation not only transformed my health but also ignited my passion for nutritional science, leading me to pursue and complete my Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition).

Today, as a qualified Clinical Nutritionist and EFT Practitioner, I combine my personal experience with evidence-based practice to provide truly holistic healing support. My expertise extends to the GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) Nutritional Protocol, while my EFT tapping work helps clients release emotional blocks that often stand in the way of their healing journey.

I believe that true healing requires addressing both physical and emotional well-being. When you provide your body with the right nutritional support and release emotional barriers through EFT tapping, it has an incredible ability to heal and flourish. My journey from patient to practitioner gives me a unique perspective – I understand both the science behind nutritional therapy and the emotional challenges that often accompany health transitions.

Your body has the natural intelligence to heal itself when given the right tools, both nutritional and emotional. Through proper nutrition, EFT tapping, and expert guidance, you can take control of your health and begin your healing journey from the inside out. As your Clinical Nutritionist and EFT Practitioner, I'm here to provide the expertise, support, and encouragement you need to achieve optimal wellness.

Three key principles…

When I work with my clients, I am guided by the three key principles:

  • Health and wellbeing is best achieved when a holistic approach is adopted

  • I seek to fully understand my client’s health and wellbeing goals and use that to tailor my approach to help them achieve those goals

  • My advice and support should complement other treatments or medications my client may already be taking.

I am a clinical nutritionist, a certified GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) practitioner, and a qualified clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner.

I look forward to working with you in your healing journey. Please contact me for a no obligation appointment.
